NSCC's book club will be reading Democracy in One Book or Less by David Litt. We will meet at a NSCC member's home for a spirited discussion with a facilitator (to be confirmed).

Focusing on the theme of our April Lecture event at Lake Forest College related to democracy, the author, writing in an entertaining often hilarious style, takes us on a deep dive into the mechanics of how our system works, why it doesn't and why fixing it is easier than you think.

NSCC members who purchase Democracy in One Book or Less from the Lake Forest Book Store will receive a 15% discount. Just mention the North Shore Civic Club when you check out.
